Supercar Blondie’s Chloe took the JETOUR T2, a Chinese-built 4×4, into the Brazilian wilderness to test its off-road abilities, and the result spoke for itself.
The JETOUR T2 is designed to be a jack of all trades.
It’s a luxury SUV, but it’s also a ‘proper’ off-roader.
And it’s got one extra trick up its sleeve.
The JETOUR T2 is designed to be a global product
Unlike other Chinese-built vehicles, the T2 was designed with the whole world in mind.
Even though it’s manufactured and assembled primarily in Asia, the T2 was designed by an ex-Porsche designer and it comes in more flavors.
You can have the plug-in hybrid or the regular gas model.
This is crucial because while EVs are certainly on the rise, there’s still a fair bit of skepticism around them.
And you don’t have that problem with an internal combustion/plug-in hybrid vehicle.
In this case, Chloe drove the range-topping PHEV, which combines a 1.5-liter engine with three electric motors for a combined power of 597 horsepower.
When you put the fuel tank and the battery capacity together, you get 1,300 (800+ miles) of charge.
You also get a pretty nippy 0-60 time of 5.5 seconds, which doesn’t hurt.

Supercar Blondie’s newest presenter, Chloe, drove the JETOUR T2 in the jungle in Brazil to test its real-world off-road capabilities.
Early in the trip,Chloehad to use theT2to help a local farmer pull a stuck tractor out of the mud, which was only an appetizer.
Later, she also had to deal with mud pits and steep inclines, which she managed to tackle using the vehicle’s X Mode.
X Mode is interesting.
It is a driving mode that senses road surfaces and adjusts power and traction automatically.
It can seamlessly shift between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, adjust torque distribution, and eliminate torque lag.
It also detects whether you’re on mud, sand, wet roads, or regular city streets and react accordingly.
“Mud, water, steep climbs. Whatever I come across, I’m going through it,” Chloe said in the video.
But the real ace up the T2’s sleeve is the vehicle’s ability to withstand up to 700 millimeters (27+ inches) of water.
“So, today it’s Brazil versus the T2. Let’s see who wins,” she said.
Well, it seems the T2 won.
