Viewers are wondering why The Oval Season 7 does not have Episode 23 or Part 2. Created by Tyler Perry, the series revolves around a family living in the White House and explores the personal and professional lives of the staff behind the scenes. After a new episode premiered last Wednesday, many are eager to find out the reason for the absence of an episode this week.
Is Tyler Perry’s The Oval Season 7 over or will there be an Episode 23?
Tyler Perry’s The Oval Season 7 has officially ended, and it was the final chapter of the series. The series consisted of 22 episodes, with the finale premiering on September 30.
The final episode, titled “The Filthy Rat,” featured Max, who confronted the A-S cartel to protect Sharon and Nancy. According to BET, the latest season’s plotline is: “In the final season of Tyler Perry’s The Oval, the Franklins are back in the White House with one mission: reclaim their throne. As Hunter and Victoria launch their ‘Make The Franklins Great Again’ campaign amid national crisis and crumbling alliances, they’ll soon discover the greatest threat to their reign has been inside all along.”
Generally, a series renewal depends on multiple factors, including viewership, audience reception, ratings, financial viability, and much more. If a series ticks all the expected boxes, a renewal is likely. In The Oval’s case, it has been a successful and widely viewed show that received back-to-back renewals. However, the makers have since decided that there are no plans for Season 8. Neither the makers nor the network has provided any official reason as to why they decided to end the run of such a successful show.
The cast of the popular series includes Daniel Croix Henderson, Teesha Renee, Nick Barrotta, Russell Thomas, Javon Johnson, Ptosha Storey, and Vaughn W. Hebron, among many others.
