American indie pop singer Phoebe Bridgers has been named as the first headliner for next year’s All Points East festival in London.
The 32-year-old, who put out her third solo album Lost Weekend earlier this year, is scheduled to perform in Victoria Park on Friday, August 27 2027.
The four-time Grammy Award winner will be supported at the day festival by artists including Caroline Polachek, Kelsey Lu, Jasmine.4.t, and Danielle Ponder.
Additional support acts for the event will be revealed in due course.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday, October 29 via allpointseastfestival.com.
The announcement follows this year’s All Points East, which featured two shows from US rapper Tyler The Creator, a performance by New Zealand pop star Lorde, and a set from British singer Jorja Smith.
Tyler brought out rapper ASAP Rocky during his appearance, while Lorde described her show as “one of the best line-ups I’ve ever been a part of”.
Bridgers’ most recent album became her first to reach number one on the UK albums chart in August, following her 2020 second album Punisher, which peaked at number six.
She has secured three UK hit singles with “Lost Boys”, “Lost Weekend” and “The Governor’s Waltz”, while other fan favourite tracks include “Motion Sickness”, “I Know The End” and “Waiting Room.”

In a glowing five-star review in The Guardian, Alexis Petridis speculates that a line in “The Governor’s Waltz”, a lush, almost anecdotal song showcasing Bridgers’ knack for storytelling, “could be interpreted as a swipe at ex-boyfriend Paul Mescal’s current partner”, the musician Gracie Abrams: “She can pretend to be me/ Since she took my place in my bed, on that stage.”
Bridgers and Mescal started dating during the pandemic, and were subsequently the subject of engagement rumours before separating in late 2022. Both have refrained from discussing their relationship, and breakup, in the press, with the Normal People star telling Harper’s Bazaar that his personal life is “nobody else’s business”.
The musician is also part of indie rock supergroup Boygenius alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus.
