Aston Martin has unveiled the Dreadnought and it’s exclusive to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but it’s unlike anything the British marque has ever created.
Rather than becoming the company’s next road-going supercar, this armored V12-powered machine has been designed solely for the hugely popular video game franchise.
Even more impressively, the brand built a real-life version of the vehicle despite it never being sold.
It’s a collaboration that blurs the lines between gaming and cars in spectacular fashion.
Aston Martin Dreadnought is unlike any Aston Martin you’ve seen before
At first glance, the Dreadnought is a car that looks more at home on a military base than outside a luxury hotel.
The hulking 4×4 from Aston Martin features aggressive armor plating, enormous off-road tires, exposed recovery points, roof-mounted equipment, and a commanding stance that gives it a post-apocalyptic appearance.
Despite the dramatic styling, Aston Martin’s signature design DNA is still easy to spot, particularly in the front grille and sleek lighting elements.
Under the hood, the fictional vehicle is powered by a mighty V12 engine, giving it the soundtrack and performance credentials expected from the British manufacturer.
Inside, the cabin combines premium luxury with battlefield practicality.
Oxford Tan leather upholstery sits alongside herringbone carbon fiber trim and satin gold accents, while military-inspired additions such as weapons storage, reserve fuel tanks, and reinforced protection complete the futuristic interior, so it brings that classic British class, but combines it with military styling.
Because it only exists in the digital world, the designers were able to push the concept much further than would ever be possible with a real vehicle, creating one of the most outrageous SUVs the company has ever imagined.
It’s exclusive to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
While the Dreadnought may look ready for production, you won’t be able to order one from your local dealership.
Instead, the vehicle has been created exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, where players will be able to drive it across the game’s battlefields when the title launches later this year.
Although it’s destined to remain a virtual vehicle, the British marque still built a full-size physical model to showcase the project.
The one-off display car recently made its real-world debut, giving fans the rare opportunity to see the incredible design up close despite it never being intended for public roads.
The collaboration was developed with Call of Duty creator Infinity Ward and publisher Activision, with the British car manufacturer treating the Dreadnought like a genuine design study before adapting it for the game.
It’s certainly one of the most unusual partnerships Aston Martin has ever undertaken, shame we’ll never be able to add one to our garages though.
