Ben Stiller‘s popular comedy film, Little Fockers, will be leaving Netflix soon. This comes ahead of the release of its sequel, which features a new addition to the franchise’s main cast in the form of Ariana Grande. Released in 2010, Little Fockers was a critical bomb but was a success at the box office.
Little Fockers is leaving Netflix next month
Ben Stiller’s 2010 film Little Fockers is all set to leave Netflix on August 1, 2026, according to a report by What’s On Netflix.
Directed by Paul Weitz, the movie features a talented cast including Stiller, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Dustin Hoffman, Owen Wilson, Barbra Streisand, and many more. The movie did well at the box office but was given a harsh reception by critics. According to a report by Box Office Mojo, Little Fockers, which was made on a reported budget of $100 million, opened at $30 million. In the domestic market, it made close to $148 million. Its international collections amounted to $162 million, which took its lifetime earnings to $310 million.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie received a poor score of 10 percent on the Tomatometer based on critic reviews. Its score on Popcornmeter was slightly better at 34 percent based on audience reviews.
Despite the poor reviews, Little Fockers is getting a sequel titled Focker-in-Law, which is scheduled to drop on November 25, 2026. The upcoming movie features the cast of the original movie in the franchise, Meet the Parents, alongside Wicked star Ariana Grande. According to Entertainment Weekly, while speaking about the sequel, Stiller said, “The setup of the movie really seemed to make sense, which is why we wanted to do it. Greg Focker is now the age that Jack Byrnes was when Greg married his daughter, and now he’s going through this same experience.” He praised Grande and stated, “It was great to have her energy coming into this franchise that has been around a long time, and we hadn’t done for a very long time.”
