These men from Utah were delighted to lay claim to a $2,500 storage unit, but it was the semi truck that came with it that proved the biggest win.
It’s always a bit of a gamble when you invest money into a storage unit.
You could either be landed with a jackpot or a total dud.
In this case, it was very much the former.
Biggest mystery storage unit wins
You can never be totally sure of what will be waiting for you when you open a storage locker.
For one woman, she found a DeLorean sitting inside, which is undeniably cool.
Eddie Hall, the world’s strongest man, was another satisfied customer as his mystery container had a 2007 Bentley sitting inside of it.
It would be a similar story this time around when YouTube channel HeavyDSparks laid claim to a storage unit in Utah.
To be clear, the semi truck in this case wasn’t inside the storage unit.
This was an add-on to the storage unit.
What was inside this $2,500 storage unit?
With only a few photos to go off, HeavyDSparks and his team weren’t sure what to expect.
But $2,500 later, they were opening it up to see what was inside.
It was a mixed bag, to say the least.
From car stereo equipment to vapes and power tools, it was a real smorgasbord.
Perhaps the best offerings from the unit was a cracked 75-inch TV and a silver dollar from 1883.
“Coins are so frustrating because you get so excited and you think you’re going to have one that’s worth a million dollars and you just never do,” HeavyDSparks remarked.
So far, this unit wasn’t living up to the $2,500 that had been invested in it.

Would the semi truck trailer redeem the whole deal?
How much better was the semi truck?
Inside the trailer was tons of returned freight, much of which was unopened.
Shifting through the pallets, the YouTuber found stereo kits, yard tools, and a wall-mounted AC unit.
There was also a red light therapy device, estimated to be worth around $9,000.
Do we smell a profit?

Even the smaller items were handy to have, from sockets to blades and power tools.
And more importantly, they added up in value.
But the trailer itself was a huge asset to have, in more ways than one.
Capable of carrying industrial machinery, it was worth around $2,500 in and of itself.
So now, they could either sell it or keep it around for their own use.
It’s quite remarkable that the biggest win of the whole gamble was a trailer, not what was sitting inside of it or the storage unit.
This gives a whole new meaning to ‘think outside the box’.
