This college student in the US found an abandonedLamborghiniCountach LP500S and aFerrari308 GTS in her grandma’s garage.
That’s like winning the lottery twice on the same day.
Bothsupercarshad been untouched for at least 20 years, but they were still in relatively good shape, even though obviously a proper restoration was necessary.
And their value now in 2026 truly makes your jaw drop.
These two cars are worth a fortune now
The college student and her grandma both decided to sell the cars because they weren’t using them and they wanted someone to truly enjoy them.
The cars weren’t explicitly put up for sale, but they said they were ‘open to offers’ for the two supercars.
Their potential value was staggering.

The entry-level Ferrari flew under the radar for decades, but its value has been going up consistently over the last two or three years.
In good condition, a Ferrari 308 GTS can often sell for over six figures, which means the example you see here would still be worth at least $50,000-$70,000, even in this condition.
Lamborghini Countach LP500S value
The Countach is in a different ballpark because it’s the LP 500 S.
Only 321 of these were made,and their market value is stunning.
In mint condition, this is a car that can fetch up to $700,000-$800,000 at auction, and that means it’ll easily sell for six figures even after 20 years of neglect.
The story behind the Lambo and the Ferrari is a little strange
Pictures of the cars were uploaded to both Reddit andImgur, and the uploader explained that she found them by pure accident.
Like a family heirloom no one knew about.
“Despite the rust and dust, grandma’s 1981Lamborghini Countach LP500S is the coolest,” the caption read.
They ended up here because of what felt like bad luck back then.
Apparently, the student’s late grandpa had bought the two cars for his exotic car rental business in 1989, but things went sideways and he just decided to cut his losses and get rid of most of the cars.
However, he decided to keep boththe Ferrari 308and the Lamborghini Countach.
And now, decades later, bad luck turned into good luck.
