Former UFC light heavyweight Jimi Manuwa will make his boxing debut later this month.
On August 29, Mike Perry will face Dillon Danis in an MMA bout that will headline Duel: Arena 1 at the KIA Center in Orlando, Florida.
The surprising announcement of this matchup led to speculation regarding the rest of the card due to this new promotion booking a big venue for their first event.
Following the news that former UFC fighter Phil Rowe will be switching to boxing for a bout on the undercard, the promotion has now revealed two more names with Octagon experience who are booked.

Jimi Manuwa set to end retirement for Duel: Arena boxing match with Rashad Coulter
In 2019, Jimi Manuwa was knocked out by Aleksandar Rakic in 42 seconds before announcing his retirement several days later.
‘Poster Boy’ competed 12 times in the UFC’s light heavyweight division and was once on the cusp of a shot at Daniel Cormier’s title before losing an eliminator with Volkan Oezdemir.
On August 7, Duel Arena announced that Manuwa is coming out of retirement for a heavyweight boxing match with Rashad Coulter at their debut event on August 29.
Coulter also competed inside the Octagon, having parted ways with the promotion following a 1-3 run that saw him win his last UFC bout after missing weight.

Manuwa headlined two UFC Fight Night events in London during his career, with Cormier previously admitting that he turned a fight with the Brit down.
‘DC’ revealed in 2017 via The MMA Hour that Dana White called him to suggest that he’d be fighting the knockout artist at UFC 214.
The UFC Hall of Famer responded by showing little interest in this matchup due to his pursuit of a rematch with Jon Jones.
“They tell me, ‘You got to fight Jimi Manuwa,’ and I’m like, ‘For what? This dude has no chance, come on,’” Cormier said.
In a post following the announcement, Manuwa said that his return has been a long time coming and that he “couldn’t say no”.
