Dana White has had enough of the never-ending drama with Eddie Hearn.
For much of 2026, White and Hearn have feuded publicly, with the latest issue being White’s role — or lack thereof — in the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua superfight. White has repeatedly claimed to be promoting the event, while Hearn has repeatedly denied those claims, and the dispute has even threatened to upend one of the most-anticipated bouts in boxing.
While it’s still unclear what role, if any, that White will have in the event, the latest salvo in this ongoing saga came on Tuesday when Hearn said that White did not attend the opening press conference for the event because he was contractually barred from doing so. He would be fine with White producing the show for Netflix, but they’d need to sit down and hash things out.
Speaking with reporters after Contender Series on Tuesday night, White refuted Hearn’ claims about missing the presser and that he had any need to sit down with Hearn in the first place.
“It wasn’t because it’s weird if Dana White doesn’t show up to Dana White’s Contender Series on a Tuesday?” White said. ”I haven’t missed one in 10 years, no matter what. And then I had the press conference and the fight in Utah. And the day that we held it, the reason that day was held is because that was the day Turki — Turki wanted to be at the press conference, and that was why.
“There is absolutely zero confusion. Everything that I have said since however long ago is true. Now he’s open to meeting with me; about what? What should we possibly meet about?”
When a reporter followed up, noting that Hearn claimed White’s inclusion in the event would constitute a breach of contract, White gave a curt response before sounding off on the whole affair.
“Sounds like he’s got an incredible lawsuit,” White said.
“Did he talk about AJ and Fury? OK perfect. That’s all that matters! Who gives a shit?! Have I been wrong in anything that I’ve said? Not yet! Nothing! I am producing the fight. I am promoting the fight. I will be there at the fight. And then I’m flying right back to Vegas for the UFC fight. And all of my producers and guys that run production will be flying with me. We already had the meeting. The meeting was yesterday.
“This is so f*cking silly now. And the fact that you guys are even asking me these questions! And if he’s on Ariel Helwani for however long he’s on, he’s talking about me? Why?! Why am I the main topic?!
“AJ and Fury are fighting! Those two are gonna make a f*ck-ton of money. The fight is finally happening. And everything that I have said about my involvement in the fight has been absolutely true.”
Despite their obvious antagonism toward one another, Hearn seems to share White’s growing exhaustion with this back-and-forth, admitting that the feud had turned “childish.” White, meanwhile, just wants to focus on what matters: the fight itself.
“I’m producing the show, and at the end of the day, who gives a shit?” White reiterated. “They’re fighting. Yes, I’m helping promote the fight. Yes, I’m producing the fight. He’s gonna make a f*ck-ton of money, him and AJ. That’s it.
“I heard that he had said he looks forward to the press conference so he and [I] — it’s not about me and him. He can’t stop talking about this. It’s not about me and him. AJ and Fury is the fight. Who gives a shit about me and Eddie Hearn? …
“Is that really what people want to see? Eddie and I are not the same. We’re not even f*cking close.”
