General Hospital alum Eva LaRue, known for playing Natalia, has suffered a personal tragedy. The actress took to social media to mourn the loss of her brother, Louie.
General Hospital’s Eva LaRue remembers her late brother
Eva LaRue took to Instagram to inform about the passing of her brother, Louie. “I’ve been avoiding making this post, because somehow, putting it into words, makes it real,” she wrote. LaRue continued that she is “ready to accept that someone so full of life, with so much more life to live, is suddenly gone at only 40 years old.” The 59-year-old actress added, “I cannot wrap my head around it-I am utterly broken.”
The post continued, “My beautiful brother didn’t just light up every room he entered, he changed the entire energy of it for the better.” LaRue acknowledged her brother’s “magnetic smile,infectious joy, that incredible ability to make everyone feel like family.” She called Louie her “fiercest protector, and defender.” The General Hospital alum said he was her champion, and she was his. Moreover, he was one of the fiercest, most loyal people she has ever known. She continued that her brother showed up time and again for the darkest and scariest years of her life.
LaRue added, “One of the things I admired most about him most was that he wasn’t just a dreamer, He was a doer! Things most people talk about doing and never do, Louie actually did. Rapper, food influencer-he made shit happen with that hilarious, goofy, irresistible personality that made him the unofficial King Of Long Beach.” She stated, “Louie lived life unapologetically. He worked hard, loved hard and played harder! And he had more quotable funny, one liners than anyone’s favorite comedy movie.”
The post concluded, “I love you, Little Loo. Nothing will ever fill this huge hole in my heart. Rest in love, my beautiful brother, Until your smile is the first thing I see again.”
