Supercar Blondie had an amazing surprise when a Bugatti Tourbillon was delivered to her hotel in Beverly Hills.
The Tourbillon was unveiled not long ago, but we know the drill with hypercars of this caliber because there’s always a significant time gap between the launch and when deliveries actually begin.
This also means that this Tourbillon was one of the first that left the factory in Molsheim.
Unfortunately for Supercar Blondie, though, there was a minor catch.

The Tourbillon marks the beginning of a new era for Bugatti, and that’s for several different reasons.
For starters, it tells us that Bugatti isn’t going down the electric route.
It also tells us that the French-Croatian automaker isn’t backing down or downsizing.
The Tourbillon’s engine is actually larger – not smaller – than the old Chiron’s W16 it replaced.
This brings us on to the main protagonist of the show.
The old W16 that was first introduced with the Veyron and then refined with the Chiron and other few-offs was replaced with a newer, more efficient, and more powerful V16.
Same number of cylinder, different layout.
The powertrain produces 1,800 horsepower, around 1,000 of which comes from the V16 itself, while the remaining 800 come from the electric motors.
Price-wise, the Tourbillon costs around $4 million.
And when we say it ‘costs’ $4 million, what we mean is that it starts at around $4 million.
But we know how it works with these hypercars: each one is essentially a one-off, and the price can balloon quite easily.
How Supercar Blondie got a Tourbillon delivered to her hotel, but there was a caveat
Supercar Blondie got a Bugatti Tourbillon delivered to her hotel in Beverly Hills but the the only downside was that she wasn’t allowed to drive, and she wasn’t even allowed to sit inside.
But as far as ‘look, but don’t touch’ situations go, this one was still pretty special.
Bugatti didn’t exactly put a production cap on the Tourbillon, but this isn’t a mass-produced vehicle.
All in all, we can expect single-digit deliveries each year.
The one delivered to Supercar Blondie at her hotel in Beverly Hills was one of the first production-grade Bugatti Tourbillon that ever saw the road.
In general, the launch of a supercar or a hypercar is followed by months – sometimes years – of wait.
Also, we don’t know what’s going behind the scenes, but we can bet a good amount of money that the first deliveries will be reserved to high-profile collectors.
Years ago, there was a study that confirmed that the ‘average’ Bugatti owner also owns 15 other cars and a plane.
Crucially, the average Bugatti owner almost never owns only one Bugatti.
Cristiano Ronaldo, for example, owns quite a few, including the Centodieci.
Some of the largest collectors own more than 10.
Ironically, even Mat Armstrong – a ‘self-made’ Bugatti owner who didn’t buy one from the company (and likely couldn’t, although that’s to be confirmed) – owns more than one.
