When this Mississippi woman got her first gas bill after buying a 2025 Toyota Camry, she was left stunned, especially when comparing it to her old 2014 Nissan Altima.
TikToker Queen Tay is always on the look-out for a deal that is good value for money.
But even she was taken aback when she took her new Toyota Camry to the gas station for a fill-up.
And it’s sparked a whole wave of debate online.
How much was this woman paying to fill up her 2025 Toyota Camry?
For years, Queen Tay had driven a 2014 Nissan Altima but decided to trade it in for 2025 Toyota Camry.
She was curious to see what a difference this move had made for her when it came to gas prices.
With gas costing around $2.69 per gallon at the time of the video being made, this meant her Nissan Altima would cost $55 to fill up.
That’s about right for a standard sedan, which costs between $50 and $70 to fuel up.
How did the Toyota Camry compare?
It came in at $28.26.
That’s right – just under half of what her old gas bill used to be.
“Oh my gosh, that cannot be full,” Tay said, when she saw the price.
As if she expected naysayers to call her bluff, she turned on her Camry and showed a full tank of gas on the dashboard.

In her view, the Camry was $40,000 well spent.
Key Features: 2025 Toyota Camry
Powertrain: 5th Generation Toyota Hybrid System, pairing a 2.5-liter gasoline energy with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery.
Top Speed: 115mph.
0–62 mph: 7.4 seconds.
Drive Modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and EV.
Starting Price: $28,400.
The comments section was filled with a fiery debate
As is the way on the internet, people weighed in to share their opinions on the video.
Some were evidently jealous of Tay’s gas savings.
“That would fill a quarter of my tank. Plus, it takes premium,” one viewer wrote.
“Bigger flex than any Benz or BMW,” another said.
However, there were plenty of people on-hand to suggest that being in Mississippi is what got her such cheap gas.
In a follow-up video, Tay said that she got cheap gas on account of nearby oil refineries, as well as low taxes on gas in her state.
This may serve as the most effective ad for Mississippi yet.
