Red Bull’s RB17 hybrid hypercar made its dynamic debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

It feels like a full-circle moment, as you may recall that we first got to see the prototype at a previous Goodwood.

But now it was time for the official debut of this powerful hypercar.

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding Red Bull’s RB17

This has been in the making for quite a while now.

You may recall that we got an exclusive look at Red Bull’s first F1-inspired hypercar back in 2024 at that year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Designed and manufactured entirely by Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the RB17 instantly captured everyone’s attention at the event.

And to think that this hypercar nearly bore Ford’s badge on the front.

The hype really kicked into overdrive earlier this year when the surreal finalized design was shared to the public.

With each one being worth $6 million; it’s no wonder that this car made its way ontothe most expensive cars of 2025 list.

But now, it was time to see the RB17 in action.

The RB17 finally had its moment to shine at Goodwood Festival

Powered by a Cosworth-sourced V10 engine, the 1200hp hypercar sure sounded like a classic race car.

In videos shared to social media, it was shown ripping up the track and making a big old ruckus – just like us car enthusiasts like it.

A roster of talent was on hand to drive the car, including Red Bull Racing F1 driver Isack Hadjar, Red Bull Test and Reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bulling Racing Academy Programme driver Alisha Pamowski, and RBAT’s former CTO and RB17’s visionary designer Adrian Newey.

In the eyes of Red Bull, Goodwood was a natural fit.

“Goodwood is the perfect place to celebrate what Red Bull Engineering is all about,” Laurent Mekies, CEO and Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing, said ahead of Goodwood.

When not on the track, the RB17 was showcased near the Red Bull Energy Station.

It wasn’t just the RB17 that was wowing car lovers at this year’s Festival of Speed.

Supercar Blondie was on the ground to report on several of the awesome cars there.

One such car was theDenza Z Convertible, a joint venture between BYD and Mercedes, which was took less than 2 seconds to get to 60mph and less than 10 minutes to charge using BYD’s Flash chargers.

And then there was the new Lexus LFA.

Admittedly, this car didn’t get the chance to show its full potential as this was a prototype without an engine.
